Worm Gear Speed Reducer, SW-1S

SW-1S, Solid Output Shaft Features

  • Solid Output Shaft: 1/2" O.D. solid ground and polished steel, sintered bronze bushings
  • Dimensions: 3 3/8" high x 3 7/8" wide x 3" deep
  • Compression-molded glass-fill polyester gear box
  • Gear: precision-hobbed bronze worm gears are low in cost, lightweight, and quiet running.
  • Input Shaft: 5/16" O.D. ground and polished steel, supported by sintered bronze bushings, sealed to retain lubrication and keep out dirt
  • Weight: 28 ounces, Weight may vary according to ratio
  • Ratios Available: from 3.5:1 to 60:1 (all ratios are right-hand, left- hand worms gears are custom)
  • Lubrication: Supplied factory lubricated with grease
  • Mounting: SW-1 gear reducer mounting feet may be positioned at any one of eight locations. Additional mounting position options are available here.

SW-1S Speed Reducer, Custom Options

  • Bronze worm gears, providing three times the torque capacity, are available for rugged applications.
  • Stainless steel shaft (Please specify series stainless steel needed)
  • Longer shafts lengths on input and output
  • Left-hand worm gears

  • Hollow Output Shaft: 5/8" I.D. ground and polished steel, cross-hole to secure solid driven shaft, runs with sintered bronze bushings
  • Dimensions: 3 3/8" high x 3 7/8" wide x 3" deep
  • Compression-molded glass-fill polyester gear box
  • Gear: Bronze gear precision-hobbed
  • Input Shaft: 5/16" O.D. ground and polished steel, supported by sintered bronze bushings, sealed to retain lubrication and keep out dirt
